Visions&Goals

Preserving the educational values of MedicineBear (Founder of Bearland) Native culture& rustic life of days gone by, away from technology, materialism and fast life. We are a people trying to encourage awareness and to preserve our Native American culture and heritages and history for future generations.

The future of Bearland much depends on the commitment and support  of  the family and Bearland members as well as  outside resources and contributions from our community and the world. Direct contributions to help sponsor events are needed as well (see below list) and can be given online or by direct mail. In turn.. we will give you recognition and honor for your contributions as well as hopefully help you in native ways and put you into any raffle or contest we may have for Bearland in the future.

Together, we Can make the world a better place and save and help the present and  the future native American cultures.-Our future children depend on us for guidance. Lets guide them in peace!

EVENTS:  educational displays bearland awareness and Exhibits and Trade Post .  We also call upon others  to join us in the effort to give the best possible meaning to our cause in the preserving of our native heritage traditions and former life on the frontier and elsewhere and other time era's for education.  We are also helping with issues and concerns as well as other humanitarian  issues in order to preserve, protect and care for the future  generations education and present Native American cultures, issues and such as well as the Rustic lifestyle. By bringing insight to the public, we restore  the declining cultural values and  dignity so needed in our societies today. By giving dignity to native culture and Former rustic ways of life we give merit to those whose lives are touched by their ancestry.  We not only show their world of existence, but our own to each other as well. encouraging understanding and acceptance among all people in hopes our creator enlightens all whom come in contact with Bearland both online and off and ay all our events.

AWARENESS & EDUCATION: We have brought positive values to the community through gatherings, pow-wows, tribal dances, legends, music, drum circles, Exhibits and by providing educational resources.  When we do an Event or if in the summer months at Bearland there is always information available for reading and exploring native culture as well as past rustic frontier life.   We always strive to encourage the  respect of others for  the simple life ,thus giving the young and old alike culture and merit for their future to look back on and reflect as the world around us grows more into technology. The things found at our Exhibits and at Bearland itself as well as the trade post, are things this world as we know it now found few and far. We strive to not become too techno yet also on the same notion we are able to bring to a wider range of people here and abroad the love and knowledge of what Bearland has to offer. That is why we have opted for online websites for those we pray for incapable of leaving home or for one reason or another it is easier for them to come to Bearland via the world wide web. We now stand one in many search engines thus increasing our awareness and efforts to preserve the awareness of native culture and rustic living. Our latest Exhibit was in Scott County at Pioneer Village. Though it rained, we successfully brought awareness and products  to people who enjoyed them as well as entertained the children with face painting of native symbols and provided pass out fliers.

EXHIBIT: We try to be informative of native issues at all our events. We set up both the Exhibit Displays as well as the trade post table. In the summer months we also offer a small Exhibit room at Bearland itself for all to enjoy.

Opportunities: We truly love what we are doing and offer Bearland to others as well as a way of continuing whatever dream. That

Humanitarianism: We also try to help where and if we can help. We will have fund raisers from time to time for various people. As well as reaching out online and off helping the people understand the flight of issues and causes we address.
